Master Gardener of the Year

The Master Gardener of the Year is an award given to the individual Master Gardener who has gone above and beyond in his or her volunteer services. Nominations for this award are solicited in November of each year and voted on by members of the St. Louis Master Gardener organization. The announcement for MG of the Year is made at the annual holiday party in December.

Master Gardener
Connie has been a Master Gardener since 2004. He specializes in the relationship between plants and birds in the landscape. He is a co-author of 'Birds in the St. Louis Area: Where and When to Find Them'. He is a past member of the Master Gardener Advisory committee and the current chairman of the Master Gardener training committee. Connie has retired from a career in secondary education.
