EarthWays Center Work Day

Tuesday, March 30, 2010

MG Volunteers needed to help prepare the EarthWays Center for spring by volunteering for a morning (9 to 12 noon) to deadhead, rake and clean their small landscape. A "Free" Lunch is provided by the EarthWays staff!

Additional Information

The EarthWays Center is part of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Established in the early 90s, this facility demonstrates principals of sustainable living. The Garden is one of native plants, a water garden and low maintenance perimeter plantings. The green roof garden is unique. We are looking for Master Gardeners to help clean out the gardens and get it in shape for the summer. Both Leigh Butler and Steve Cline will be there to help on this day. Bring you pruners and a pair of gloves. Three hours should do it as this garden is urban in size.

Event Location

The EarthWays Center for Sustainable Living is located at 3617 Grandel Square off Grand Blvd north of St. Louis University and the Fox Theatre.
