Downtown St. Louis medians come alive each season with colorful flower and decorative landscape displays. These urban landscape enhancements are made possible by generous support from the St. Louis business and philanthropic community and the volunteer efforts of non-profit service organizations forming a downtown landscape enhancement initiative called Urban Roots. The Urban Roots project continues to be a major interest by St. Louis Master Gardeners who assist with the horticultural development and maintenance.
