The Plant Doctor Desk is always a friendly place to visit where you can meet Master Gardeners on duty any day of the week and in any type of weather. Master Gardeners Jeanne Klebusch, John Stephens and Theresa Flanagan were on duty on a lovely warm Wednesday afternoon in January. The Plant Doctor desk is located inside the Kemper Center for Home Gardening at the Missouri Botanical Garden.

The Kemper Center for Home Gardening is home to the "Plant Doctor"

Looking for a way to really get hands-on experiences? Do you like sharing knowledge? This is your chance!
The Plant Doctor desk is a walk-in service at the Kemper Center for Home Gardening. Volunteers work with the Garden visitors to identify plant material and plant disease/pest problems. Numerous reference materials are right at hand as well as a projection capable microscope. The Plant Doctor desk is open Monday through Saturday.
Plant Doctor volunteers work side by side with other Master Gardeners. Additional education is available to help hone your "investigative skills". Monthly training/educational sessions are held on the first Wednesday afternoon of the month in the Kemper classroom.
