the Boy Scout Merit Badge Skill Center being offered on October 21st at Kemper Center. Van Spurgeon and Jim Hoeffner will lead this class filled with Boy Scouts ages 12-17 years old as they work towards earning their Landscape Architecture merit badge. The class will meet from 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. in the Kemper Center classroom. Your assistance to help keep the scouts on task and help answer any questions will be invaluable to the success of this program. We are in need of 4-5 volunteers to make this program a success not only for the Master Gardener organization but for the Boy Scout organization as well. Additional merit badge skill centers will be held in the Spring.Connie Alwood will lead the Bird Study program and Karin Foster will conduct the Gardening skill center.
