Remembering One of Our Original Master Gardeners
Master Gardener Billie Beyer passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012
Our Master Gardener organization was saddened today to learn of the passing of our friend and fellow gardener, Cecilia (Billie) M. Beyer. Billie was a member of the 1983 Class and became a very active member of the organization. Over the years Billie served on the early Advisory Committe and was insturmental in the development of our many volunteer activities. Billie was a dedicated volunteer at the Missouri Botanical Garden serving as a Master Gardener and also as a Plant Doctor.
Billie was a friend to many and will be missed as a trusted and dedicated Master Gardener.
Services: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, Monday, June 18, 9:30 a.m. to Assumption Catholic Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Internment at J.B. National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
