Betty is a native Missourian. She is an active member of "Wild Ones Natural Landscapers". She has helped to create native landscapes in local parks, other public areas and private gardens. She has been a Master Gardener since 2000. She is a winner of the St. Louis Post Dispatch "Best Native Garden" contest. She volunteers with the Master Gardeners Speakers' Bureau, Gateway Greening and St. Louis County Parks.
