Capturing rain water runoff from impervious surfaces is a means of stabliziing ground and surface water resources. It also provides an esthetically pleasing garden space and wildlife habitat. 'Rain Gardening' will help you learn the in's and out's of both the theory and creating your own rain garden

Ned retired from a career as a research scientist in 2006. He became a St. Louis Master Gardener the following year. Currently, a member of the Master Gardener Training Team and the Advisory Committee, he also volunteers at Forest Relief's CommuniTree Gardens in Maryland Heights. Interest in native plants and in rain gardening lead him to work on his certificatin as an Illinois Master Naturalist.
