General Vegetable Gardening

This session will explore factors considered in site selection and preparation of a vegetable garden.

Additional Information

The size and shape of gardens, cool and warm season vegetables, watering and depth of seeds and plants will also be discussed. An in-depth discussion of the culture and maintenance of a vegetable garden with specifics on soils, fertilizers, transplanting, mulching, staking, pruning, and watering will follow. This is a fun but information filled session that you can't afford to miss!
