Gardening with Chocolate

Hungry for something new in your garden? Enjoy the dark rich foliage and flowers in the chocolate group of brown, purple, and bronze plants.

This presentation will discuss and explore perennials, bulbs, and annuals that have "Chocolate" in their name. An interesting and amusing presentation will give recipes that help you enjoy these special plants by creating wonderful contrasts in your garden. You may wish to use them alone for a yummy "Chocolate Garden."

Betsy became a Master Gardener in 2005. She volunteers at the Kemper Center reception desk, in the Kemper Center outside gardens, at the Litzsinger Road Ecology Center and with the Master Gardeners Speakers Bureau. She is on the Master Gardeners Training Committee and the Advisory Committee. She is an avid daylily gardener.
